Saving Spalding Pets

I am part of a volunteer group of people dedicated to rescuing animals awaiting death by "gas chamber" methods. These are the animals at one such shelter, the Spalding county animal shelter in Griffin, GA.

AO6-2308 BOXER MIX-URGENT! SAD UPDATE..THIS BABY DIED IN THE GAS CHAMBER..WHY, OH, WHY?

This sweet baby is just 8 months old. He is a typical, happy, well-socialized puppy. He has the smushy face and droopy jowls of a Boxer and also the dark brindle coloring. He is a bouncy, energetic goofball who deserves a home of his own. His last day is listed as AUGUST 21. So hurry!

Any luck persuading the powers that be to get rid of this horrible method. "Euthanasia" means "good death" - putting an animal in a small black box where he or she can't breath, and sometimes struggles with other panicked animals is NOT a "good death".
