Saving Spalding Pets

I am part of a volunteer group of people dedicated to rescuing animals awaiting death by "gas chamber" methods. These are the animals at one such shelter, the Spalding county animal shelter in Griffin, GA.

AO6-3104 CHOW MIX-NEEDS MEDICAL CARE-GRANT-RESCUED!

This 2 year old boy has a super nice, mellow temperament, despite suffering from an injured foreleg. It seems to be swollen and is painful, as he is limping on it. As the shelter is NOT funded for medical care, this poor guy must sit and wait..hoping an adopter or rescue will bring him relief. His LAST DAY ALIVE IS OCTOBER 30.

He is now in Maine, waiting to be adopted. He had a broken leg and heartworm, so had to have some extra TLC. What an unbelievably nice dog he is. Loved other dogs!
