Saving Spalding Pets

I am part of a volunteer group of people dedicated to rescuing animals awaiting death by "gas chamber" methods. These are the animals at one such shelter, the Spalding county animal shelter in Griffin, GA.

AO6-1497 TIBETAN MASTIFF MIX-BEAR-RESCUED BY DRDR!

Sweet, fun-loving Bear was adopted here a couple of months ago. Once again, it seems a dog's inappropriate chewing has landed him in danger. People have no patience. Bear resembles a TM, but on a much smaller scale, about 65 lbs. He is UTD on all vaccinations and has been NEUTERED. He gets along with other dogs and children, although he plays a bit rough for very small kids. Bear is a beautiful dog who needs to be part of a family, not languishing in the back yard, bored to death. The person who surrendered him even said that she had asked her vet if he would EXTRACT Bear's teeth to keep him from chewing! Can you believe that? He is available NOW and his last day is listed as June 16.

One of our dogs looks just like him and you never saw such a fun-loving and smart dog. This one must have some Eskimo or Finnish Lapphund in there somewhere.
